GENERAL

Marion Academy, founded in 1987, is an independent, Christian school located in the heart of the Blackbelt. We seek to educate the children of Perry County and surrounding Blackbelt communities in a Christ-centered environment and to train children in academic rigor, spiritual growth, and community service.

SCHOOL 

Marion Academy has students in grades PreK-12. Marion Academy is governed by a board of Christian parents and professionals and is directed by a chairman and a principal.

ACCREDITATION

Marion Academy is an independent Christian school and is fully accredited by The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC).  Generally, 90-95% of MA graduates attend 4-year colleges and universities.
